Writing tables [manuscript], 1702-1707.

A pocket memorandum book. The leaves were originally coated to facilitate erasure and reuse, but the coating appears to have been washed or rubbed off by continued use, leaving many pages clearly legible. The visible writing is an account book noting personal, household, and travel expenditures and receipts (including several heriots) of a man of substance, possibly lord of a manor, who may have lived at Welford, Northants.

22 leaves ; 8 x 13 cm.
