A collection of six scrapbooks covering baseball in general between 1939 and 1942. Newspaper clippings and many action-type newsprint photos with captions. Items of note include: volume 1 has ruling on gloves; volume 4 has the dedication of the Hall of Fame in 1939; volume 5 has year-end trades; volume 6 has an article about Comiskey as a 15-year old boy and predicting his future as president of the Chicago White Sox; article regarding the uniformity of the pitching mound, list of players in the military in 1942.
