The Papers of Judge Alfred T. Goodwin chronicle more than fifity years of judicial service, from his debut as Lane County circuit judge (1955-1960), his tenure on the Oregon Supreme Court (1960-1969) and the U.S. District Court (1969-1971), to his lengthy service on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (1971-present).
