Parker has been working hard on the production of Mavourneen at His Majesty's Theatre; Lily Elsie is "quite exquisite in it." He wonders if the American production of Mavourneen will actually happen. He is hard at work on a play for Viola Allen. Refers to the war and expresses being "sometimes buzzled by the attitude of the American government."
