Savage indicates that his collection of manuscripts and Shakespeare genealogical and historical matter is in disarray. Refers to his communication with Mr. Folger, to whom he had offered to sell a painting in oils by Edward Grubb of the old Market Cross, with the Garrick procession of 1769. Letter also includes a quotation from Love's labour's lost. With envelope addressed to Winter, originally sent to New Brighton and later forwarded to Lake Sunapee, N.H.
