Autograph letter signed from Osmond Tearle, Wallack's Theatre, New York, to Mr. J.A. Fisscher [manuscript], 1882 April 26.

Tearle writes that his first appearance as an actor was made on the 26th March 1869 in the part of Guildenstern in Hamlet at the Adelphi Theatre, Liverpool, England. He also mentions his first appearances in London and America and an appearance as Jaques in As you like it.
