Madge Kendal correspondence, 1897-1909.

The collection is comprised by correspondence from Madge Kendal to her agent Mr. Christy, and to others about bookings, and other professional related matters such as: her need for a piano for her musical performances, concerns about some contracts, bills, schedules. All the letters are written on note papers form her home and a variety of hotels from all over Great Britain and Ireland. The latest date on the letters is 1909. Most of them list only the month and the date.
