Correspondence of Edward D. Freeman, 1935-39 [manuscript]

Freeman responds to requests to become the president of the Haverford College Alumni Association and to accompany then president William Wistar Comfort (1935). His correspondence with classmate Robert Burdette reveals information about their experiences at Haverford, as well as earlier at Haverford College Grammar School, but also serving in the army in Europe in World War II and political commentary. Burdette's letter is decorated with sketches.
