Letter book of Enoch Watts, 1697-1700.

Copies of letters and verses to Watts' brothers Richard and Isaac, the last one to Isaac mentioning his hymn-writing. The first letters, unsigned, often fragmentary, and possibly not by Enoch, appear to be school letters written on behalf of the father, Isaac Watts, who ran a successful boarding school at Southampton. Some in shorthand.
