Views of the Welch Building at 1401-1421 Pearl Street. One view shows the building in 1877 or 1878 when it housed the hardware and dry goods stores of A.L. Welch and Company. The other view is a drawing by Joseph Sturtevant in 1879 or 1880 when it housed the dry goods store of A.L. Welch and Company, the hardware store of William Babcock and Company, and the Boulder post office. Note board sidewalks and street lamp.
