This folder contains 2 historical articles. One consists of Parsons' two handwritten transcriptions of a (Central City, Colo.) Daily Register obituary of Abel D. Breed, late owner of the Caribou mine, dated 24 June 1873. The other article, apparently written by Laura Frances Riley, is a 13-page typescript of a story about Caribou, Colo., written no earlier than 1946.
