Boulder (Colo.) record of climatological observations tables 1958-1970.

This folder contains carbon copies of monthly climatological report forms with daily data on temperature, hourly precipitation, amounts of precipitation (by type), and other notable weather conditions for each day, from observation stations Boulder #2 or #3, Colo., for 2 Oct. 1958 through 31 March 1970. Observations were made between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

From 1947 until 1970, the official observations of weather in Boulder were made under the direction of the Boulder fire chief, at the central fire station. The Boulder Fire Department also maintained a weather station at the South Side Fire Station starting in July 1958. Prior to 1947, observations were made from the homes of volunteering citizens of Boulder. (Cf. station history in BHS 351 b1 f6.).
