This folder contains a number of climatological tables containing data for the extremes of weather conditions in Boulder, for the period 1887-1972. Tables are on the lowest temperatures, first snowfalls of the season, cold weather seiges, coldest days, biggest monthly snow totals, 20-year temperature averages, most severe hail and wind storms, wettest months, highest temperatures by months, number of days with temperatures of zero or below, lowest temperatures each year, largest number of days with sub-zero readings, highest temperature in each year, temperatures of 100 deg. F. or over, earliest and latest snowfalls, snows over 10" in a 24-hour period, and biggest single snowstorms.

From 1947 until 1970, the official observations of weather in Boulder were made under the direction of the Boulder fire chief, at the central fire station. The Boulder Fire Department also maintained a weather station at the South Side Fire Station starting in July 1958.
