This folder contains a number of climatological tables containing average data regarding weather conditions in Boulder, for the periods 1895-1927, 1942-1945, and 1952, and data on snow and moisture at Silver Lake, for the period 1942-1953. The Boulder Daily Camera assembled some of this data, which was obtained by voluntary meteorological observers. Among these tables there is a Beaufort scale for wind description.

From 1947 until 1970, the official observations of weather in Boulder were made under the direction of the Boulder fire chief, at the central fire station. The Boulder Fire Department also maintained a weather station at the South Side Fire Station starting in July 1958.
