This folder contains 3 views of Caribou, Colo. Print #39 is a photograph of the new town of Caribou taken by Mr. McClure in the early 1870s, from the upper (western) end of town. The north spur of Goat Ridge flanks the town at the right. Donald C. Kemp photographed the views of the remains of Caribou on a late April day in 1938 (print #s 40 and 41). Print #40 (neg. #F-228) is a view of the site of the former town, as seen from a hill in Caribou. Print #41 shows the ore bin and connecting shute from the shaft house at the old Caribou mine.
