This folder contains 2 long-range views of mining camps in the vicinity of what became the town of Eldora, Colo. One print shows the Happy Valley 1890s mining camp, seen from a point on lower Tennessee Mountain toward the top of the Continental Divide. The second photo, a panorama view in 2 pieces, shows the Eldorado Camp along Middle Boulder Creek; A. M. Thomas took this panorama in about 1895. The John H. Kemp placer operation headquarters cabin is visible at left mid-center.
