Hugh Fraser Watts was born in Wisconsin in 1870. He and his mother moved to the Boulder, Colorado, area in 1897 for health reasons. An assayer and a chemist, he married Claribel Austin in 1898 and died in Boulder in 1946. He was the father of Nina A. Watts. From the description of Hugh F.
