a program for the annual exercises of the Alumni Association on 4 June 1902; a program for an oratorical contest held on 17 Jan. 1902; a program for a commencement concert held 30 May 1903; and a program for the first annual intercollegiate field day held on Gamble Field on 9 May 1903. The field day program lists the various track events, the names of participating students and their college affiliation, and penciled in are the winners and their times. This folder contains programs for various events. Included are a program for a University Soiree, printed on silk satin, and dated 8 Dec. 1882; a class day program for 26 May 1890, giving the names of class members; a program for "Pirates of Penzance, put on by the School of Music for the piano fund, dated 14-15 Apr. 1899, with some local business advertisements in it; the program for a student concert on 20 Apr. 1901;

Fred Hellems, who compiled the two-page list of admission and graduation requirements of U.S. universities, was a Canadian who came to the University of Colorado as a Latin professor in 1898.
