This folder contains documents and papers concerning the Orr and Osgood families in Colorado, collected by Russell Mann. They include certificates of Samuel Orr's naturalization as a U.S. citizen at age 26 on 13 September 1870 and of his election as justice of the peace for Gilpin County on 2 November 1880. Also, letters from his brother and his sister. The folder also contains incoming correspondence and financial records of Joseph Osgood of Colorado Springs. One of the numerous items in this folder is an archival photocopy of a newspaper clipping of 8 February 1940, in which Ida S. Osgood recounts her arrival in Cañon City, Colorado, in early 1879.
