Nomad Players collection. 1951-1983.

The bulk of this collection is newspaper clippings from the Boulder Daily Camera documenting the activities of the Nomads from 1951 through 1974. The collection also contains a few playbills and publicity items, and a history of the theater group which lists the names of many of the actors and directors involved in the group's productions.

The Nomad Players was formed by a group of Boulder people in May of 1951. It was preceded by the Community Players, from which the new group drew many of its members. Lawrence Lavon Linville (September 29, 1939 – April 10, 2000) was an American actor known for his portrayal of the surgeon Major Frank Burns on the television series M*A*S*H.
