Biographical note: Frank Fowler was a professor of Romance Languages at the University of Arizona. Iron artifacts discovered on Silverbell Road in Tucson, Ariz. in 1924 were variously attributed to Phoenician sailors, Spanish explorers, Mormons, Quetzacoatl, and a Roman-Jewish settlement circa 775 A.D. Henry Orestes Andrew was born in Boulder on 23 November 1874, and died in 1949. His parents arrived in Boulder in 1870 from southwestern Pennsylvania, after a short stay in Illinois. His father served as a county commissioner in Boulder County. Henry Andrew attended the White Rock country school, and then the Boulder public schools.
