Gadsen Purchase Foundation Photo Album, 1916-1921.

Photograph album of the Tucson area includes photographs, some postcards and some panoramic photos, mostly taken about 1920. The album was designed to promote Tucson and includes photographs of railroad stations, streets, businesses, homes, parks, fire equipment, ranching and airplanes. There are photographs of various schools including the University of Arizona, businesses, public buildings, and the construction of the U.S. Public Service Health Hospital, . There are photographs of arirplanes and oil trucks, fire trucks and equipment, and street paving, water, telephone, and electric services. One section is devoted to Rancho Aldona, owned by Alfred S. Donau, and its prize-winning hogs and rabbits.
