This collection contains correspondence, reports, blueprints, diaries, photographs and other material relating to the Bowie Mine, located near Paonia, Colorado. In 1974, the mine and 2,000 acres of property were sold to the Coors Energy Company, which in turn donated much of the historic mining equipment to the Colorado Historical Society in 1981.
