Manuscript materials and Arkansiana, mostly pertaining to Hot Springs and Garland County. The collection originally included many duplicates filed in different access points. Duplicates were eliminated from the collection yet effort was made to preserve original order as well as provide access to the materials. The collection was divided into five record groups: biographical material, writing and research material, topical manuscript collections, pictures, and maps.
