Allen Jones diary, 1908-1909, 1975.

The collection consists of a photocopy of Jones' diary for the period September 6, 1908-June 11, 1909, when he attended Clemson College; there is also a November 25, 1975, transmittal letter from Joe Sherman, Director of Alumni Relations to Gordon Gourlay, Director of Libraries and Gourlay's reply of December 1, 1975. Jones describes his life as a student at Clemson, including his professors, his courses, his attendance at church services, visits to town, football and social activities, both at Clemson and other locations, especially Columbia, SC.
