Consists of an account book including a record of income, 1899-1939, and a record of disbursements, 1899-1911. It also includes a genealogy chart in the front of the volume. A copy of "The Magnanimous Mr. Sheffield" (Yale Magazine and Journal, October 1976), a biography of Joseph Earl Sheffield, follows the account book.
