Disposition of F. B. Davis (Jefferson F. Howell) regarding robberies of dredging companies in Idaho and California, 1919.

Copy of dispositions sworn by F. B. Davis (true name Jefferson F. Howell). The dispositions were given to the Sheriff of Weaverville, California, in 1919. Davis recounts several robberies he committed over the course of several years. In each case, he stole from a dredging company the amalgam of the recently processed ore which he then had refined to obtain the gold for sale.
