Business papers and account books (mainly kept in annual diaries) of Wethersfield, Connecticut, resident Josiah G. Adams. Adams was a produce broker and also involved with the Wethersfield State Prison. The collection also includes an 1899 inventory of the furniture, equipment, and supplies of the Prison. Adams acted as executor for several estates; those papers may be found in the collection as well.
