A collection of copies of correspondence between Montgomery and Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter. The collection also includes the copy of a letter from James M. Graham, who, together with John P. Vahey, were defense counselors at the Sacco-Vanzetti trial. Correspondence reveals Montgomery's efforts to persuade Supreme Court Justice Frankfurter to retract his statement that Vanzetti had not been allowed by counsel to take the witness stand due to his radical political views.
