Washington State Library's collection of George T. Thompson's papers, circa 1866-1915.

The collection appears to be records & papers that were cleared out of the law practice of George T. Thompson of Walla Walla, WA. It consists of: family correspondence, 1878-1884; legal correspondence; legal documents, receipts, account books, bills and approximately 100 business cards from the area. The legal documents that are contained in the collection are original estate papers & wills, affidavits, contracts, court cases, guardianship, petitions for administrations, deeds, bankruptcy notices, legal briefs, letter copy books, transcripts and notebooks. There is an 1866 office Calendar of the District Court for Boise City.

Maud P. Mitchell was born about 1883 in Oregon. She married Chas. R. Mitchell and by 1920 they were living in Chehalis, WA. Charles was an assistant cashier at the bank.
