Letter, 8 Mar. 1863, to Furman, from Garden, Sumter, S.C., re attending church, possible U.S. Army attack on Charleston, S.C., capture of Indianola, Miss., and effects of the war on the south; letter, 15 Nov. 1863, F.E.
