Grace Lambert yacht Atlantic collection 1927-1929.

Collection of items concerning the yacht Atlantic, which won the 1905 Race for the Ocean Cup sponsored by Kaiser Wilhelm II. The collection consists of an Aug. 5, 1928 radiogram from Queen Maria Christinia of Spain to the Atlantic's owner Gerard Lambert apologizing for not being present at the departure of the yacht, the yacht's guest register running from Dec. 13, 1927 to May 17th of an unknown year and a portrait of King Alfonso XIII of Spain presented to Lambert after the victory of the Atlantic in the 1928 New York-Santander Yacht Race. The reverse side of the portrait contains a telegram from the King to Lambert.
