Papers and legal documents relating to David Garrick's property at Hampton, Midd. [manuscript], 1747-1825.

Contents include Lacey Primatt's request to Garrick to pay Mr. John Charnier £1800, September 3, 1754; George Palmer's transferral of his interest, January 27, 1756; John Neet's letter to Mr. Seton about the erection of an unauthorized building, February 19, 1799; Edward B. Sugden and F.W. Sander's opinions as to the title, 1820; a note of the acreages, 1820; William Jackson's letter to Thomas Carr asking for an abatement in the price of the cottages because of their dilapidated condition, October 8, 1825. Also, the judgment delivered in Garrick v. Joseph Filce of Hampton, victualler, bound to Garrick in £400, June 1, 1767; and drafts and fair copies of bills of costs incurred in legal transaction with reference to the management of his properties, William Kenrick's libels, to Mr. Lattimer and others, 1771-1775, as well as those incurred by David Garrick the younger in settling his estate, 1784-1791.
