The Famous History of the Life of King Henry VIII by William Shakespeare [manuscript], ca. 1880.

Intended to be a volume of The actor's Shakespeare edited by George Becks. Dedicated "To Josephine Dobinson with An Uncle's Love" (leaf 2). Becks has pasted printed material from various editions onto lined notebook paper--French's Acting edition, ii-iv; Charles Kean's edition (London, 1855), v-x and auxiliaries; preface, synopsis of scenes to Henry Irving's edition; and other editions, in addition to newspaper clippings and notes about other productions (leaf 35) and manuscript text. From leaf 42 onwards, interleaved with the play text from p. 213-303 of The Elzevir Library vol. vi, no. 272, Ideal edition Henry VIII by Shakespeare (NY: Alden, May 21, 1887)
