This collection consists of two letters addressed to the Attorney General of the U.S., Robert H. Jackson. The earlier one is from Frances Perkins, Secretary of Labor. It concerns Mr. Jackson's invitation from William Green to be a guest at the dinner of the AFL honoring Sir Walter Citrine, General Secretary of the British Tade Union Congress, on December 10, 1940. The other, a letter from Cordell Hull, seconds an invitation to the Attorney General to deliver an address at the annual meeting of the Tennessee Bar Association on June 6-7, 1941.
