This collection consists of literature on political issues, covering the dates 1959-1968. The collection contains a variety of printed material on Communism, firearms, John F. Kennedy, Richard M. Nixon, race, religion, George Wallace, and Earl Warren. With a few exceptions, most of the literature has an ideological focus and is centered around the presidential candidacy of John F. Kennedy. The collection contains the Sept. and Oct. 1960 issues of Common sense, and clippings, pamphlets, memoranda, and articles from national and local newspapers and various religious and political groups. The collection is arranged alphabetically by subject.
