Hussey, Dahler & Co. was a Salt Lake City, Utah-based bank with branches in Helena and Virginia City, Montana Territory. Senior partner Warren Hussey was born in Indiana in 1835. William Chapman Ralston, San Francisco businessman and financier, was born in Plymouth, Ohio, in 1826. He arrived in San Francisco in 1854, and ten years later, when he organized the Bank of California, he became one of the most important and powerful men in California.
