Indenture agreement between Sarah Ruhl of Crawford County, Ohio and Lt. Col. Elias M. Green, Chief Quartermaster Dept. of Washington and 22d Army Corp, in charge of the "Government Farms" and the "Freedman's Village" in Virginia. Document binds out as a servant Thomas Clark until he turns 21 and obligates Sarah Ruhl to food, clothing, lodging, and schooling for him.
