Indexes to Iridaceae and flora of Bolivia, 1950-1970 (bulk).

Consists of two indexes, an index to the Iridaceae and an index to the flora of Bolivia created by Foster while on the staff of the Gray Herbarium. The Iridaceae index cards are housed in seven boxes and arranged alphabetically by genus and by species within each genus. This index includes a broader field than the aggregate of Foster's publications on the Iridaceae. The index to flora of Bolivia is stored in five drawers and is arranged systematically by families. Each family section has two parts; the first contains species cards and general bibliographic reference cards; the second contains cards listing name of collector, collection number and details of habitat of a specimen. This index constitutes notes for Foster's unfinished Flora of Bolivia.
