Photographs from survey of Labrador coast, 1931.

Consists of aerial photographs taken during an expedition to survey the northern third of the Labrador coast in the summer of 1931. The expedition was organized by Forbes. Osborn Maitland Miller developed an approach for using aerial photogrpahy to map the area and oversaw the extensive surveying efforts, including taking these photographs with a Fairchild survey camera from a Fairchild monoplane. Results of the expedition were published in: Northernmost Labrador mapped from the air (1938) by Forbes. It includes a detailed listing of the photos and a letter from Forbes.
