Allen Morris was born and educated in Chicago, Ill., Dec. 3, 1909 and came to Miami, Fla. in 1923, where he worked for the Miami Daily News, and became a reporter, editor, and author; he came to Tallahassee as a journalist and later became Clerk of the Fla.
