Contains the scrapbooks Callahan compiled documenting her political activities. They include items from the North Dakota state Democratic conventions, national conventions (1952-1960), her campaigns for N.D. State Auditor, for which she was unsuccessful, national politicans visiting the state, and John F. Kennedy's inauguration. There is also invitations, Christmas cards and correspondence from national Democratic Party figures.

Irma Krebsbach was born in 1899 in Iowa. She worked in the Fargo office of the Internal Revenue Service from 1921 to 1943. She was active in the Democratic Party at the local, state and national level. She married James Callahan. She died in 1995 in Fargo, N.D.
