1 p. letter from M.M. Barnum, Assistant Regional Forester, communicates a change of Forest Service policy to [California?] Forest Supervisors. The letter states that the policy against cabins made of smooth materials such as sheet metal has been changed to allow the "Hol-a-day House" to be erected to meet demand by Forest Service permittees for moderate cost cabins. A four page color brochure about the Hol-a-day House, manufactured by the R.J. Naylor Co. of Albany, Calif., is attached.
