A new version of the Psalms of David, fitted to the tunes used in churches : manuscript, 1810.

Manuscript copy written in Perth (Scotland) in 1810 of the work by Nahum Tate and Nicholas Brady, first published in 1696. Gilt leather binding with 2 ribbon markers and gilt page edges. Rulings in lead visible on some leaves. As in the first edition, the manuscript has no musical notation. The Psalms are followed by a page of texts for the Gloria Patri and a small number of hymn lyrics, including "Hark! the herald angels sing" as one of two Christmas hymn lyrics. An edition was published ca. 1810 by C. Whittingham for J. Reeves in London.
