Pioneer rancher and Pima County sheriff; Brown married Olive Letitia Stephenson in 1879 and they moved to Sahuarita where they ran the Sahuarita Ranch as a stagecoach station and post office until 1890. Their first daughter, Clarissa later married Mulford Winsor. Their son, J.K. Brown, Jr. married Elsie Siewert Brown. Elsie was a sister to Edith Monier, wife of Quintus Monier who founded Tucson Pressed Brick Co., was mayor of Tucson, and built San Augustine Cathedral among other local buildings....
