Report on Indian rising in Sinaloa, 1743.

30 pp. holograph manuscript, apparently written by an unknown Jesuit, containing a summary of Gov. Don Manuel de Huidobro's reports on the 1740 rising of the Yaqui, Pima, Mayo and other Indian tribes of the province of Sinaloa, in connection with which he made bitter accusations against the Jesuits of the Sinaloa Missions, dated June 12, 1743. Also present is an English translation prepared by Henry F. Dobyns.
