Court Commissioners were authorized to set the value of land condemned for the construction of railroads. This series consists of Commissioners' reports in the cases of the Wisconsin Central, the Milwaukee and Northern, the Green Bay and Lake Pepin, and the Wisconsin and Michigan railroads. The records also include notices of appeals. The Commissioners' reports regarding the City of Green Bay assessment cases, 1879-1880, are also included.
