Letter, 1835 Apr. 29.

Letter, April 29, 1835, from G.B. Whiting, Jerusalem, to Rev. Isaac Bird, Beyroot (sic), in English. Appears to be a personal letter from Whiting to colleague Bird in Beruit relating to the transfer of "Mrs. D" from Jerusalem to Beruit and Whiting's hopes of reenforcements soon to help with pilgrims in Jerusalem. There is no indication of denomination, although a "committee" is mentioned which seems to control the assignment of clergy or missionaries to various locations in the Middle East.
