Urban League of Pittsburgh photographs 1948-1995 bulk 1979-1990.

The Urban League of Pittsburgh photographs include slides, 4x5 and 8x10 prints, and 35 mm negatives which illustrate Urban League activities. Two photo albums provide an early look at the Urban League in 1948. Numerous photographs of Pittsburgh sports figures from 1978 including childhood images are included in this collection. These images were used by the Urban League in a Reading is Fundamental sports book. Also included are images of executive directors Arthur Edmonds, Leon Haley and Esther Bush.
