Henry Clay Morrison was a world-famous Methodist evangelist, camp-meeting and revival preacher. In 1890 he started the Pentecostal Herald, for which he wrote articles and editorials the rest of his life. He also wrote some 25 popular books. He was president of Asbury College 1910-1925 and 1933-1940. He founded Asbury Theological Seminary in 1923 and served as its president from 1923-1942. From the description of Diaries. 1893-1941.
